Option 1. Provision of Open Spaces (1–2 points)
PATH 1. ALLOCATION OF PUBLIC GREEN SPACES (1 POINT):
Provide publicly accessible green space area covering 15% or more of the total city area.
AND/OR
PATH 2. OPEN RECREATIONAL SPACES (1 POINT)
Provide two of the following spaces within a ½-mile (800-meter) buffer of at least 70% of the city’s
residential areas:
- Athletic field and/or court
- Trail network
- Play space geared toward children
- All-weather fitness zone
- Co-located adult and child physical activity space
