housing costs.

Demonstrate that at least 70% of households in the city spend less than 45% of their income on

combined housing and transportation.

Option 3. Affordable Housing Production (1 point)

Demonstrate that at least 5% of all newly produced units are affordable for households earning at or

below 80% of the area median income in the reporting year. The selected reporting year must fall within

the last five years.
