pollution, exposure to hazards, and climate risks through proactive planning, engagement, and
accountability.

Comply with any combination of the following options for a maximum of 3 points.
Option 1. Reduction of Exposure Over Time (2 points)
Identify at least one priority neighborhood from IPp2 Human Impact Assessment that is affected by a
prioritized risk identified in IPp4: Resilience Assessment and show reduction by meeting two of the
strategies listed below.
a. Implement structural and/or engineered solutions in compliance with national, state, or local
standards to reduce the impact from at least one prioritized risk identified in IPp4: Resilience
Assessment.
b. Adopt risk-informed zoning policies that address the identified prioritized risk . The policies could
include but are not limited to focus on the location of critical facilities, protective setbacks, and
development standards/restrictions.
c. Incorporate structure resilience requirements in building regulations to reduce potential damage
from identified prioritized risks .
