identified in IPp2: Human Impact Assessment is within five percentage points of the city-wide
graduation rate.

Option 3. Support Programs to Improve Retention and Improving Graduation Rates (1 point)
Demonstrate city-wide adoption of three of the following strategies. Elaborate on how these strategies are
implemented in one or more priority neighborhoods identified by IPp2: Human Impact Assessment :
a. Provide summer learning programs for students who need academic assistance and support
outside of the school year.
b. Provide after-school activities, tutoring, and/or extended day programs for students who need
additional academic assistance outside of the school day.
c. Offer alternative learning options and programs for students who reengage with the district
education system.
d. Provide no-cost full-day prekindergarten and kindergarten for students in school districts serving
priority neighborhoods or within at least 75% of all public schools.
e. Provide local funding, policies, or other supporting services to support a comprehensive early
childhood education ecosystem in the city that prioritizes the needs of low- to moderate-income
households.
