Option 3. Career Assistance and Support Programs (1 point)

Demonstrate city-wide adoption of two of the following strategies. Implement the same strategies in at

least one priority neighborhood identified in IPp2: Human Impact Assessment :

a. Support the school-to-career transition through internships, mentoring, and technical training.

b. Provide vocational training opportunities to improve career possibilities.

c. Establish workforce development programs that connect residents to quality jobs through training,

apprenticeships, career counseling, or employer partnerships.

d. Support job placement and employer partnership programs such as dedicated liaisons, targeted

outreach, and hiring events.

e. Provide supporting services for job seekers such as transportation assistance, childcare support,

interview attire assistance, and upskilling initiatives .

f. Implement green workforce development initiatives such as grants/partnership agreements with

local institutions for upskilling/training.
