Meet any combination of the following options for a maximum of 2 points.

Option 1. Equity, Civil Rights, and Reparative Planning (1 point)

Meet all of the following requirements to protect civil rights, advance equity, and promote a just quality of

life for all residents:

a. Adopt an official city mission statement or policy affirming a commitment to nondiscrimination in

employment, housing, and city services on the basis of key demographic data, and gender

identity, or expression.

b. Adopt policies that promote and protect the voting rights of all eligible residents. Demonstrate the

initiative to expand access, prevent disenfranchisement, and ensure equitable civic participation.

c. Establish a designated civil rights authority tasked with upholding antidiscrimination laws,

addressing complaints, and advancing equity-focused programs.
