Comply with any combination of the following options for a maximum of 2 points.

Option 1. Electric Vehicle (EV) Transportation Infrastructure (1–2 Points)

Adopt two of the listed strategies to promote vehicle electrification. Each strategy is worth 1 point:

a. Equitable Deployment of EV-Charging Stations: Develop policies and programs to ensure

equitable access to EV-charging infrastructure in any two priority neighborhoods identified in

IPp2: Human Impact Assessment . Ensure community outreach and stakeholder feedback are

incorporated in planning and siting decisions to reflect local mobility needs.

b. Single-Family Residential EV Charging: Require all new one- or two-family developments with

off-street parking to provide at least one EV-ready space through provision of electrical panel

capacity and conduit for future Level 2 electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE). Clearly

demarcate and reserve these spaces for sole use by plug-in EVs.

c. Commercial Development EV Charging: Require all new commercial developments with 10 or

more parking spaces to install Level 2 EVSE serving at least 5% of all parking spaces. Ensure

that an additional 10% of all parking spaces are EV ready by providing sufficient electrical panel

capacity, conduit, and wiring to support future Level 2 EVSE. Clearly demarcate and reserve

these spaces for sole use by plug-in EVs.

d. Multiunit Residential Development EV Charging: Require all new multiunit residential

developments with five or more parking spaces to install Level 2 EVSE in at least 10% of all

parking spaces. Ensure that an additional 20% of all parking spaces are EV ready by providing
