Option 2. Bikeability (2 points)

Demonstrate that 60% of the population resides within a ¼-mile (400-meter) buffer of a bicycle network or

has a Bike Score of 70 or greater.

AND

Demonstrate a 5% improvement in the bicycle infrastructure of the city for one of the following metrics

from a user-defined baseline year. The selected baseline year must fall within the last five years:

a. Miles of protected bicycle lanes per capita

b. Miles of bicycle lanes per mile of roads

c. Number of people within a ¼-mile (400-meter) buffer of bicycle infrastructure

AND/OR

Option 3. Active Travel Policies and Programs (1 point)

Meet one of the following requirements:

a. Develop an active mobility network that demonstrates a clear vision for how active mobility aligns

with urban development, public health, and climate-related goals.

b. Develop and implement city-wide policies that support pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure

investment to ensure equitable access for priority neighborhoods .

c. Adopt city-wide policies/plans for integration of sustainable micromobility (including e micromobility and bike share) with transit systems.
