building stock and ensure that all residents benefit from lower energy costs and a healthier environment.

Comply with any combination of the following options for a maximum of 4 points.
Option 1. Energy Efficiency Programs (1–3 points)
Implement any of the following programs and initiatives, led by the city or in partnership with the city,
targeting residents and/or businesses. Each program/initiative is worth 1 point.
a. Energy code–related training and education for builders, inspectors, architects, engineers, and/or
other relevant parties through two training programs annually, reaching 200 participants in total.
b. Education and outreach on energy efficiency and resource conservation for building owners and
managers, residents, and/or businesses through one annual event, reaching 2,000
residents/businesses in total.
c. Help center on energy code and energy efficiency that provides information and directs building
projects to appropriate resources.
