Option 2. Renewable Energy Policies and Programs (1–2 points)

Implement city-wide policies and/or programs in partnership with entities outside the city’s control, such

as utilities, regulators, legislators, and independent system operators/regional transmission organizations,

as appropriate to increase the share of renewables in energy supply by supporting any of the strategies

given below. Each strategy is worth 1 point:

a. Distributed renewables

b. Midsized community solar projects

c. Physical power purchase agreements

d. Virtual power purchase agreements
