Option 1. Energy Resilience (1 point)
Meet the following requirements:
a. Identify essential facilities operated by the city that require backup power during widespread
outages and determine their critical loads and minimum daily operating hours.
b. Demonstrate that all identified essential facilities can be supplied with reliable backup power for at
least one day.
AND/OR
Option 2. City-Operations Climate Action Plan (1 point)
Develop a city-operations climate action plan to accelerate the reduction of carbon emissions and achieve
an 80% reduction in carbon emissions from city operations by 2050.
