Option 1. Special Waste Streams Management (1 point)
Measure and report the total weight of waste generated (hazardous waste and two special waste
streams) and the total of such waste diverted from landfills or incineration. Report annual data from within
the last five years.
AND
Provide details on strategies adopted for recovery/recycling of the special waste streams.
Special waste streams include all nonmunicipal solid waste generated within the city, including industrial,
electronic, agricultural, chemical, biomedical, hazardous, and/or construction and demolition waste.
