Establishing and communicating the process for safety reporting promotes transparency, addresses issues promptly, and helps to maintain a safe work environment. Offer a variety of training methods to cater to diverse learning preferences. Combining inperson, online, and hands-on training methods increases the likelihood that all workers retain the knowledge required to perform their jobs safely.
For projects involving over 100 full-time employees (FTEs), provide first aid, CPR, and AED training for at least one O+M staff member. Training personnel on-site helps to ensure that immediate assistance can be provided during emergencies, potentially saving lives until medical help arrives.
