The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) devoted significant time and resources to create this Guide and all of its LEED [™] publications. All LEED publications are protected by statutory copyright and trademark protection within the United States and abroad. Your possession of the LEED Core Concepts Guide: An Introduction to LEED and Green Building, Third Edition (the “Guide”), constitutes ownership of a material object and in no way constitutes a conveyance of ownership or entitlement to copyrighted materials contained herein. As a result, you are prohibited by law from engaging in conduct that would constitute infringement upon the exclusive rights retained by USGBC.
USGBC authorizes individual, limited use of the Guide, subject to the terms and conditions contained herein. In exchange for this limited authorization, the user agrees:
